I can't believe it's here! The launch of my new online boutique is 3 days away! What a week too.
Last weekend James and I took a little weekend getaway to Nashville to celebrate our 8th anniversary. We went to the Music Builds Tour concert and had a great time. I had forgotten how loud concerts were. We slept in the next morning and enjoyed our day. My mother in law kept all of the kids for us and they had a blast, that was the first time, so I'm glad that went well, maybe there'll be more times =).
On Thursday I took Ethan and Lauren to meet my mom and they enjoyed the weekend with Nana and Pop. Adrian hung out here with us. He's the best baby and we had a very relaxing and peaceful weekend. Our Bible Fellowship class came over Friday night, lots of fun. My ears have been rejoicing at the lack of .... well, just noice!
So I pick the kids up after church today and immediately Lauren's having a fit because she didn't like her chocolate sucker and I wouldn't let her buy another one...what happened to my peace?!?!
we are all settled back in now though. when we got home she began redeeming herself with her great responses of "sure" when asked to do something. music to my ears.
speaking of music, we enjoyed the homecoming concert at our church tonight. I am so thankful for such a great church!
Now it's way past bedtime and I've just started this blogging thing and I'm going to regret the lack of sleep in the morning...

- I was born and raised in Okolona, MS. After high school went to college at Northeast Community College for just over a year then transfered to Mississippi University for Women. I graduated in 1997 with a BAchelor's in Business Administration/Management. Moved to Memphis that summer to work for Morgan Keegan in Equity Research. Starting going to church that fall and realized I had a hole in my heart that could only be filled with the love of Jesus. I had religion before that but didn't know about this relationship business. God did a huge overhaul of my personal life and about a year later He called me into the ministry. I worked at Bellevue Baptist Church in the Singles and Young Married Dept for about 4 years. During that time I met the most wonderful man in the world and he proposed on my birthday in 2000 under the crosses at Bellevue. We were married that Sept. In May 2003, I left Bellevue to become a full-time housewife and mom as we had our first son, Ethan in June 2003. Then in October 2004 we were blessed with a baby girl and most recently we had our third child, Adrian, in November 2007. We are very blessed and thank God for all He has given us!
